Police warn and caution MP Mukata and wife over murder

Police in Lusaka has warned and cautioned both Keith Mukata and his wife Charmine for Murder.

Police Spokesperson Esther Mwata Katongo has confirmed the development in a statement today.

“We are still waiting for a postmortem report for us to proceed with the case. We could not do this yesterday, because the accused persons requested that they be Warned and Cautioned in presence of their Lawyers who only managed to come through today,” stated Ms Katongo.

Mukata who is a lawyer and serves as Member of Parliament for Chilanga is alleged to have shot dead his security guard at his law firm in Lusaka over the weekend.
