Zambia Police this afternoon (Wednesday, June 22, 2016), stormed The Post and fire teargas at Post employees selling copies of today’s edition along Bwinjimfumu Road.

Meanwhile Post proprietor Fred M’membe announced that due to the popular demand of the paper and the cost of production, the paper will increase it price from K10.00 to K15.00 per copy.

 

Yesterday, Tuesday June 21, 2016, the Zambian Revenue Authority officers stormed The post Newspapers offices on Lusaka’s Bwinjimfumu Road and closed the Printing Press offices for alleged Tax evasion.

But this morning, the paper managed to print some limited number of copies which were being sold at its Bwinjimfumu offices.

By Press time, police had stormed The post Newspapers’ offices and tear gassed the employees who were found selling the paper.
