Police Arrest Boyfriend in Missing Police Woman Case

POLICE have arrested two people including a the boyfriend of a missing Katima Mulilo Police woman in connection to her disappearance.Police Spokesperson Esther Katongo has told Mwebantu that woman Constable Chembwe of Katimalilo Police Station, traffic section  was reported missing  two weeks ago.Mrs Katongo said woman Constable Chembwe has left a one year old baby.“An investigation was launched, and led to the apprehension of two people. After searching the house of one suspect believed to have been an intimate  male friend, blood was discovered an indication that she was murdered and her phone was recovered from the same house and was identified by relatives that it belonged to the victim.” she said.She added that further investigations have revealed a shallow grave located 10 kilometers from Sesheke in the bush where the suspect is suspected to have been buried.“Arrangements are being made to have the body exhumed. We have withheld the names of the two suspects as investigations have continued. We have two suspects in police custody.” she said. Post Views: 1
