PF Headed For Victory In Chilubi

The ruling Patriotic Front -PF- party is headed for victory in the Chilubi parliamentary by-election held on Thursday this week.

Phoenix Staffers Chileshe Mwango reports in Chilubi that according to provisional results from 59 out of 62 polling stations released so far, PF candidate Mulenga Fube is leading his closest rival Stanislus Cheele by over 10, 000 votes.

Although Voting took place on Thursday 13th February, 2020 but they have been delays in releasing of results owing to heavy rains hampered the vote counting.

The Chilubi parliamentary seat fell vacant following the death of then Member of Parliament Rosaria Fundanga.
