PF has brought misery to rural communities – HH

hichilemaUPND presidential candidate Hakainde Hichilema says there is no doubt that the PF government has brought about untold misery to many rural communities due to their failure to support the agriculture sector.

Speaking when he addressed a campaign meeting in Musogoro village of Milanzi constituency in Eastern Province Monday afternoon, Hichilema called on Zambians to remain united and vote for a leadership with a clear plan for the country.

The UPND leader was delivering his 10 Point Plan to the villagers who also complained about the poor state of the roads, lack of water and sanitation services, as well as the lack of nearby healthcare facilities.

Hichilema said poverty and hunger has divided many families, even leading to some children engaging in elicit activities because of the lack of job opportunities in rural communities.

He called on the people of Milanzi to join the rest of the country by turning out in numbers to vote for the UPND leadership on August 11 and their clear plan to address the country’s economic crisis.

UPND Vice President Dr. Canisius Banda also addressed the crowds, reiterating that Zambia is one country and that the UPND is united party, which is 100% focused on winning the fight against poverty.

He reminded the audience that Hichilema was a villager with a humble background, hence his desire to now serve the Zambian people, especially those children who are in need of affordable and quality education.
