Patson Daka braces Leicester City to victory

Chipolopolo forward Patson Daka scored a quick second half brace as Leicester City beat Rotherham United 3-0 in an English Championship encounter.

Daka started for Leicester for a fourth straight match. After a goalless first half Daka pulled up with two quick goals.

The Zambian international opened the scoring in the 60th minute with a close range finish off a Wilfred Ndidi pass.

Daka then doubled the lead in the 65th minute.

Daka sprinted through on goal, cleared out by the ‘keeper in the box and the referee made the easy decision pointing to the penalty spot.

The former Redbull Salzburg forward stepped up himself, firing low and left, no chance for the keeper.

Second half substitute Cesare Casadei chipped in with a third goal for the Foxes as they cruised to their fifth straight win.

After the win, Leicester maintained top spot with 58 points after 23 games.
