NRFA Collects 0ver K800 Million Toll Fees In Three Quarters Of 2019

The National Road Fund Agency (NRFA) has collected over K800 Million from all inland toll gates from the first quarter of 2019 to the third quarter of 2019.

 

In an interview with Phoenix Business News, NFRA Chief Executive Officer Engineer Wallece Mumba says all the funds collected have been applied on various road projects across country such as the Kazungula Weigh Bridge, a regional project which is linking Zambia and Botswana.

 

Engineer Mumba further indicates that in terms of road toll collections, the agency is expected to collect K10 billion at the close of the year 2019.

He further indicates that agency has resolved to raise more revenue in the year 2020 and re-scope some of its road projects across the country and ensure that all projects are completed within the given time frame.
