NAPSA Will Survive – Fatty

NAPSA newly appointed coach Mohammed Fatty says his team still has enough games before the close of the season for them to survive relegation.

The National Pension Scheme Authority sponsored side which is currently second from bottom has been battling with poor performance since the opening of the season having only recorded one win.

But the coach remained positive and said the team still had the opportunity to jump out of the relegation bracket.

“We just came from a loss at home. Of course a draw is not good enough for us but we are still working on the team. We just changed the technical bench but so far so good, we controlled most of the game, created a lot of chances but we didn’t convert into goals, we have to work in the next 48 hours to try and beat Nchanga Rangers in Chingola so that we can progress out of the relegation zone,” Fatty said.

“We still have about 18 games and we are going to work very hard to make sure [that] within the next eight, nine games, we get the team out of relegation zone. We are going to beef up the team in the strike force and the mid field. We didn’t concede because we look solid in the defence.”

But Nkwazi coach Chris Kaunda who decided to be a man of few words said he would secretly work on the loopholes on the team.

“It was a good game, at least we have come back from a loss in our previous encounter which was a loss we had, it wasn’t easy[to get a draw] with a red a card, we had to manage the game. The areas we need to work on are my tactical problem and personal. We are building a team,” said Kaunda.
