Mwiimbu Taunts Dismissed Kambwili

Jack MwiimbuMonze Central Member of Parliament Jack Mwiimbu rubbed it in on dismissed Information Minister Chishimba Kambwili by advising the latter’s successor to be humble.

Mwiimbu and Kambwili have often traded verbal blows in parliament and the former did not let the moment pass in parliament after the Roan Member of Parliament was fired on Tuesday by President Edgar Lungu.

Mwiimbu had risen to pose a question to the Vice President Inonge Wina as a follow up to a question for oral answer by Kanchibiya Member of Parliament Dr Martin Malama but squeezed in a jibe at Kambwili.

The Monze lawmaker said that it was his prayer that the new minister of information Mulenga Kampamba should not be arrogant.

“Mr Speaker I would like to congratulate the new minister of information. I hope that she will learn to be humble and not mistreat journalists. She should lead the ministry with humility unlike her predecessor,” he said.

Kambwili was shockingly shown the door by President Lungu with many having believed that he was untouchable.

Recently President Lungu announced that he had received reports of corrupt ministers in his government.
Zambia Reports understands that his mastermind of the anti Bowman Lusambo antics over the weekend proved the last straw.
