Mwenya Musenga Ready To Meet Kambwili In Court Over Disbanding Of NDC

By Lomphande Muzumi

Former Secretary General of the now Defunct National Democratic Congress –NDC-, Mwenya Musenge says he is ready to meet Chishimba Kambwili in court over his decision to disband the party.

Following a threat by the Defunct National Democratic Congress leader, Chishimba Kambwili to take legal action against Mr. Musenge for disbanding the party after the dismissal of the appeal to the minister of home affairs Stephen Kampyongo, Mr. Musenge insisted that he was the one who registered the party from inception and has every right to disband it after its de-registration.

Mr. Musenge has since advised Mr. Kambwili to move on and stop bringing confusion in a party that does not exist.

At a media briefing in Lusaka yesterday, Mr. Kambwili threatened to take legal action against Mr. Musenge following the disbanding of his party.

Last month, the NDC was disbanded following the Lusaka high court ruling on the matter, decision which Mr. Kambwili later appealed.
