Mweetwa Gets Resistance For Re-Adoption

Outspoken former Choma Central United Party for National Development Member of Parliament Cornelius Mweetwa is not having the best of times with heavy resistance to his nomination by the grassroots in his constituency.

Mweetwa has also have had to contend with the headache of having his pursuit of a legal practising license falling through for the second successive attempt.

The Choma lawmaker had just come off a five year ban from the Zambia Institute of Advanced Legal Education after he failed at the requisite three attempts and waited until the recent examinations that for him came after serving a five year ban but has once again come off unsuccessfully.

Mweetwa risks being thrust off the political and social action if his parliamentary application is not approved.

The Choma Central lawmaker is notable for his penchant for rising on points of order in parliament.
