‘MMD Die Hard’ ticks off Kambwili

MMD Die Hard Youth Coordinator Gerald Chiluba says in-coming opposition NDC president Chishimba Kambwili should stop having what he termed as selective memory regarding the former ruling party.

Chiluba said the former Information Minister is deliberately remembering only the bad things about MMD even when everyone knows that his hero Michael Sata worked with MMD MPs.

He said the game of deceit that he Dr Kambwili is playing would not take him anywhere.

“Kambwili should not have a selective memory were he deliberately chooses to remember  and ignore certain things about the late Sata, otherwise he will mislead himself if he continues to consume raw political moves of Sata, because Sata’s political moves were figurative which means they need a man with wisdom to practice and interpret his culture of politics,” he said.

And Chiluba said Kambwili was fired because he was no longer relevant to the political dispensation.

“Hon. Kambwili is simply a political redundant whose political services were nolonger relevant to the political dispensation and that’s why he was relieved from his political duties in the PF because there was no more work available for him to do, in short he was no longer useful.

“What Hon. Kambwili should do at this juncture is to reflect on his actions and accept what has befallen him by moving on with his life. He is not the first person neither will he be the last person to be dismissed from employment, because a lot of people have lost employment before and have moved on quietly.”

He has since told Kambwili to stop taking his frustrations out on the MMD.

“Finger pointing at MMD members is not a solution to your grievances it only exposes your bitterness. Because even the late Michael Chilufya Sata worked with the MMD of which you were also part of that executive, so what has changed today? Is it because you are no longer in government that’s why you are ever talking about our former President and the MMD?

“Hon. Kambwili should stop using MMD as a propaganda tool, because the late Sata belived in an inclusive governance system that accommodated individuals with potential and ability to serve the Zambian people regardless of someone’s political affiliation and political background,” he said.
