MBEZA SCHOOL RECEIVES FACE LIFT

Petauke Central Member of Parliament Dora Siliya has donated 25-thousand-kwacha worth of building materials to Mbeza community school in Petauke district.
The roofing sheets, door frames and cement will be used to construct the school after the community started the initiative.
And Ms. Siliya is encouraged that the community has decided to come with an initiative of building a school to cater for 1- hundred 94 pupils in the area.
She has since pledged to work with the community to ensure that the One by three classroom block, toilets and a borehole is set up at the school.
Speaking when she visited the community school recently, Ms. Siliya said part of the funds for the borehole will come from the Constituency Development Fund that has been released.
The Head teacher Precious Mumba told Ms. Siliya that there was a challenge of infrastructure at the School.
And Petauke District Education Officer Nkoloma Mumba said her office has been challenged by the works the Community has done so far.
Mr. Mumba further disclosed that the District Education Board Secretary Office  will also raise funds to help complete the school.
