Manufacturers Urged To Improve Quality Of Their Products Ahead Of Zambia’s Ratification Of The AFCFTA

The Zambia association of manufacturers-ZAM- has emphasized the call on its members to start positioning themselves ahead of Zambia’s ratification of the Africa Continental Free Trade Area-AFCFTA.


In an interview with phoenix news, ZAM Vice President Chipego Zulu is urging the manufacturers to improve on the quality of their products and services as well as acquire the proudly Zambian logo.


Ms. Zulu explains that this will ensure that Zambian products stand out within the competition that will come out as a result of the country being party to AFCFTA..


According to the ZAM vice president, her organization has been working with the ministry of commerce trade and industry to come up with a list of products and services that will not be heavily impacted once the AFCFTA. comes into play.
