Man killed, body dumped in Sugarcane Plantation in Mazabuka

AN unidentified man aged between 30 and 35 years has allegedly been murdered and his body was dumped at the Zambia  Sugar dam 34 in Mazabuka.
The matter was reported to police by a 34 year old general worker at the Sugar company who reported that he discovered the body yesterday around 11:30 hours whilst on duty.
Police Spokesperson Esther Katongo said when the officers rushed to the scene, they found the body lying down half naked with multiple brushes and a swollen head.
Katongo said the body has since been deposited in Mazabuka General Hospital mortuary awaiting identification and post-mortem while investigations in the matter have been instituted.
