Malawian national killed in Monze, Police say

POLICE in Monze District of Southern Province on 16th September, 2018 at 03:30 hours picked a body of a person in his 30s which was found lying in the middle of the road at Kayuni area in Monze.Police Spokesperson Mrs Esther Mwaata Katongo told Mwebantu that the victim was found with broken legs, bruised right side of the chest and a cut on the right side of the face.“Investigations have been launched to ascertain the cause of death and Police are currently treating the case as suspected murder. Investigations have been launched in the matter. In his pocket was a Malawian Passport and we have withheld the names until the next of kin is found. The body is in Monze Mission Hospital mortuary awaiting identification and postmortem.” She said. Post Views: 6
