Lusaka Man Dies While Talking On His Cell Phone

A LUSAKA man distracted by his cell phone fell to his death in a ditch filled with water and drowned. Good Samaritans rushed to try to save him but failed.
Police Service Spokesperson Mrs Esther Mwaata Katongo revealed in statement and identified Emmanuel Mukumbi aged between 20 and 25 years of Lusaka West, as the man who was distracted by his cell phone when he fell to his death.
She said the incident happened around 19:00 hours on May, 3rd, 2017.
“The victim was talking on phone, hence did not notice that there was a ditch in front of him. The body has been retrieved and deposited in UTH mortuary.” She said.
