Kulamba Ceremony set for Aug 25

THE Kulamba ceremony organizing committee of the Chewa people has announced that this year’s ceremony would be held on August 25.

Chief Chanje of the Chewa people said preparations for the ceremony have reached an advanced stage.

He said this year’s ceremony would be more entertaining than last year’s event.

Chief Chanje said all countries that include Zambia, Malawi and Mozambique were ready to show case what they have prepared.

During the ceremony, the Chewas from Zambia, Malawi and Mozambique pay homage to his majesty Kalonga Gawa Undi at Mkaika in Katete.
