KBF Urged to form Breakaway Party

Patriotic Front North Western Province Chairman Jackson Kungo has told off Kelvin Bwalya Fube popularly known as KBF to go ahead and form a breakaway than continue to pretend he is working with the Patriotic Front.

Kungo has alleged that he is aware of plans by Kevin Bwalya Fube (KBF) to form a breakaway party from PF before the 2021 elections.

He was reacting to KBF’s “Open Letter” to the Patriotic Front which he has described as misguided and that it does not come from a person with good intentions for the party at all.

“What is consuming Mr Fube is his failure to stomach his frustrations and political ambitions. We are aware that he wanted to be appointed as Secretary General of the Party, a position he planned to use as a springboard for Presidency. There is indeed nothing wrong with having Presidential ambitions but it is how that is done. While KBF believes that he is embarrassing the PF, he is actually embarrassing and exposing himself,” Kungo said.

Kungo said it was unfortunate that a senior lawyer and long standing member of the Party can behave in such a manner discussing internal matters to the outside and in an exaggerated way.

“But we know why Mr KBF is behaving like that. We already know, and we have information that that Mr. Fube has reportedly been making underground plans and dark corner meetings trying to form a break away party from PF. He must just stop pretending and just go ahead and form his personal to holder party. We know what he is trying to do, he is trying to plant bad seeds in PF. But he has failed,” Kungo stated.

He said KBF should not misuse the name of Patriotic Front founding father late President Michael Chilufya Sata to champions his agenda.
