Kasenengwa polls leave little to imagination

CATHERINE MUMBA, Lusaka
WITH the main opposition party, the United Party for National Development (UPND), out of the picture for today’s Kasenengwa parliamentary by-election, the governing Patriotic Front (PF) has evidently enhanced its chances of returning the seat.
The two other parties with candidates in the election contend this is not quite so because they are in the race not as mere participants, but as serious contenders.
Should either the People’s Alliance for Change (PAC) or the United Prosperous and Peaceful Zambia (UPPZ) candidates win the election, this would be one of Zambia’s most unexpected election outcome.
Both parties are relatively new on the political scene and are yet to make any eyebrow-raising impact.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
