Kabwe Warriors eye first ABSA Cup title

Kabwe Warriors will be aiming to win their first ABSA Cup title this Sunday when they take on Red Arrows at the National Heroes Stadium.

Kabwe Warriors have reached their first Cup final since their 2007 Victory over Nakambala Leopards in the BP Top 8.

This is the first time the magnificent People’s team has ever reached the final in this competition.

However their head coach Numba Mumamba already knows what it means to win this competition having done so with ZANACO back in 2017.

Meanwhile Red Arrows have reached their third ABSA Cup final since 2013 and will be looking to win their second title.

Warriors have managed to score eight goals en route to the final with five of them coming against Indeni in the quarter finals.

Kabwe Warriors will have to dig deep to beat the Airmen who are in fine form and eying a league and cup double.

Tickets are on sale in ShopRite stores countrywide via CompuTicketing and start from as low as K10.

The winner of this year’s ABSA Cup will pocket K800,000, with K350,000 reserved for second place.

The ABSA Life Player of the Tournament, Top Scorer, and Golden Glove will each get K25,000.
