HH at a card renewal

UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema has told the people of North Western province that he won the elections in 2016 but that the PF stole it from him.

He said everybody knows that he won the elections in 2016 and that his victory will be reclaimed. He said his victory cannot be stopped but will only be delayed.

Hichilema said if his election victory was not delayed by now he could have delivered inputs for the farmers.

The UPND leader is speaking at a card renewal exercise in Solwezi.

“We should not allow them to steal our votes, last time they stole your votes and you stayed in your houses, next time don’t allow them to steal your votes,” Hichilema said.

Hichilema said this is the reason he is still in court challenging the election of President Edgar Lungu.

Hichilema who has unsuccessfully contested elections five times urged his supporters not to be tired of supporting him. He said there is no way they could tire when their lives are in misery.

He thanked the people of the province for praying for him the time he was in prison for alleged treason charges.

Hichilma promised to go back and tour the province and campaign in all the constituencies.
