HH emphasises need for peace

unnamed (2)UPND presidential candidate has reminded his supporters of the importance of maintaining a peaceful campaign at all times and the need for restraint in the face of provocation.

In a statement, Hichilema, who is currently on a campaign tour of North Western Province, says violence is not an option and must be condemned in the strongest terms.

He noted that many obstacles have been put in his party’s path, but urged his supporters to turn out in numbers on August 11 and vote for UPND so as to guarantee that acts of political persecution will become a thing of the past.

He stressed that his party is not in the business of attacking people but ideas and providing solutions for a better Zambia.

He advised party members that when pushed they should remember that all are God’s children and must love one another regardless of gender, tribe and political affiliation, or any other measure, adding that in less than two weeks time they will have the opportunity to vote for and deliver change for the nation, fix the broken economy and move Zambia forward.
