HH and GBM to appear for interogation at Luanshya Police

Today at 10hrs ,UPND president Hakainde Hichilema  and his vice president Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba will report themselves  in Luanshya for interogation at the police station.

This is in a matter in which HH and GBM were cited for unlawful assembly after they visited the families of the UPND detainees on the copperbelt  two weeks ago.

Note that Mr Hichilema and Mr Mwamba met all legal requirements by going through the Zambia Prisons services and the ministry of Home Affairs to visit UPND copperbelt leader Matambo and 7 others at Kamfisa prison but were denied access on instruction from state house.

The duo later opted to simply visit the family members of the detainees,  a gesture which was seen illegal by president Edgar lungu.

Today, Zambia is cross-road on hamanitarian issues.Even visiting patients at the hospital  and prisons is criminal.

UPND members are called upon to turn up in numbers to give solidarity to the two statesmen as they go through another trying moment.
