GBV FIGHT INTENSIFIED

Minister of Works and Supply Mutotwe Kafwaya says Government will not relent in fighting Gender based violence and early marriages.
Mr. Kafwaya says it is important that members of the community are sensitized during the sixteen days of Gender Activism.
Mr. Kafwaya was speaking in Lusaka’s George compound when he joined in the sensitization of GBV activities for 2018 whose theme is Orange  the world : Hear Me Too.
The Minister explained that George compound tops the list in cases of GBV in Lusaka according to statistics.
Mr. Kafwaya says it is the reason his team decided to sensitise the people on the need to stop the scourge.
And Lima Ward 26 Councilor, Frank Bwalya called on the community to embrace the messages on GBV.
