ERRATIC WATER SUPPLY HITS PARTS OF NDOLA

Water Blues have hit parts of Ndola on the Copperbelt subjecting most families to access drinking water from shallow wells amid the cholera outbreak in the country.
Affected residents in Pamodzi, Hillcrest and other areas are disappointed that Kafubu Water and Sanitation company has failed to provide them with clean water for three consecutive days.
In an interview with Phoenix News, the residents are appealing to Kafubu Water and Sanitation Company to promptly address the issue and implement preventive measures to ensure that water supply is not disrupted further in light of the current cholera outbreak.
And in a public apology, the water utility has attributed the erratic water supply to the collapse of several ZESCO poles during the heavy rains experienced in the district, leading to the disruption of power supply to their treatment plant in Ndola.
