By Tinkerbel Mwila

Lands Minister Jean Kapata says enactment of the Daft National Land Policy Bill has been postponed to February 2020.

In an interview with Phoenix News, Ms. Kapata says lack of consensus among stakeholders and none availability of funds has compromised the set target.

She explains that the document which was supposed to have been taken to parliament this month will be tabled before the house in February next year.

Ms. Kapata however indicates that government and other stakeholders who include traditional leaders have reached a consensus on the proposed document and that the final validation meeting will be conducted soon so as to conclude the process.
