ECZ to meet Presidential Candidates tomorrow

The Electoral Commission of Zambia – ECZ- will tomorrow Saturday, May 28 hold a nomination briefing for the ten presidential aspirants.

ECZ Public Relations Manager Cris Akufuna says the meeting to take place at Intercontinental Hotel is meant to inform Presidential candidates on guidelines for nominations ahead of the August 11 general election.

Akufuna has stressed that the meeting is exclusively for aspiring presidential candidates.

He told ZNBC news in Lusaka today that the leaders from the ten political parties will come from the Patriotic Front – PF, Rainbow party, Forum for Democracy and Development, Green Party and United Party for National Development.

Others are the Movement for Multi-Party Democracy, Democratic Assembly, United progressive people, UNIP and People’s Alliance for Change.
