The Electoral Commission of Zambia-ECZ- says it considering adopting a legislation that will enable Zambians living in the diaspora to vote.
ECZ Acting Public Relations Manager Sylvia Bwalya has told phoenix news in an interview that the commission is currently carrying out assessment on how best to implement the diaspora vote policy.
Ms Bwalya has since called on all stakeholders to submit their recommendations to the commission so that once finalized, the policy can be adopted to avoid denying the Zambians living in the diaspora their right to choose leaders as they are key contributors to the growth of the economy.
