ECL detest tribalism

Lusambo says president Lungu is taking development to all parts of the country because he values all tribes.

Lusaka (24-02-2020) Lusaka province Minister Bowman Lusmbo Bowman has disclosed that republic president one Edgar Lungu does not tolerate tribalism being practiced by sections of society in Zambia.
Hon. Lusambo told journalists at the PF Interactive Forum held at Longacre Lodge in Lusaka that president Lungu is taking development to all parts of the country because he values all tribes.
He said similar developments taking place in Lusaka is being experienced in parts of the country.
He denied claims by some section that some provinces are lagging behind in development because they are perceived to be the stronghold for the opposition.
He said recently, he was assigned by president Lungu to inspect development projects taking place in Southern province and was surprised to find an ultra modern bus terminus and a market taking shape in Livingstone.
“At one moment I thought the structures being developed were in Lusaka but I was mistaken.”
He wondered why the opposition United Party for National Development (UPND) in Livingstone was feeling shy to publicly confess how government is developing the area.
“What is happening in Livingstone is exactly what is taking place in Southern province,” Lusambo observed
He expressed surprise that  UPND MPs in general could not acknowledge the fact government is taking development everywhere
He said president Lungu is determined to take development equitably to all parts of the country and there will be no place that will be left behind.
He said the willingness of president Lungu to equitably distribute development is an indication that he value all tribes.
He  assured the people that president Lungu will not let down the people that voted for him and will work hard to ensure that all that he proposed is fulfilled.
He said president Lungu is not in State House by mistake but was elected by the people that have confidence in him.
Lusambo has assured the people that, the government has put measures in place to ensure that the security for all the school going children is secures.
He said the security situation in Lusaka amidst ‘gassing’ is under control.
Lusambo said the government has beefed up security by releasing the Zambia Army to work with the Zambia Police.
Lusambo further ruled out the possibility of the State of Emergency taking place in the country following reports that soldiers in Lusaka were harassing people.
