Crime Levels In Kitwe On The Verge Of Crippling Down Businesses.

Kitwe District Chamber of Commerce, Trade and Industry says it is highly concerned with the increased crime levels which if left unchecked may negatively hamper on the already struggling businesses in the district.

The chamber says there is need for local leaders to call for a stakeholders meeting on how best this challenge of security can be addressed for both human and capital investment.

Emmanuel Mbambiko is chamber vice president for commerce and says the chamber is of the view that local leaders in Kitwe handle issues to do with gangs holistically.

Mr. Mbambiko notes that the district is at a risk of recording significant investment drop if quick action is not taken by relevant authorities to address the rising crime levels.
