CLEAR UP EDUCATION SYSTEM-BETUZ

The Basic Education Teachers Union of Zambia- BETUZ- has implored government to clean up the country’s education system to ensure there is enhanced examination management.
BETUZ Public and International Relations Director Kakunta Kabika says there is need to put up mechanisms that will ensure examination leakages come to an end going into 2019.
And Mr. Kabika says 2018 will be best remembered by all, as the year that saw increased examination leakages resulting into government suspending examinations for grades 7,9 and 12.
Speaking in an interview with ZNBC news today, Mr. Kabika was also quick to mention improvements that government has scored in the sector.
He cited the recruitment of teachers, feeding programs in some schools and massive infrastructure development as some of the activities that have continued to attract more learners to access education.
