Choma Institute of Teacher Education
Choma Institute of Teacher Education or CITE is a private owned training college situated in Choma, behind Macha road Market in Site and Service, 1.5 Kms from town.
The College offers Primary and Early Childhood Education for Teachers. It is registered with the Ministry of Education and accredited to the Teaching Council of Zambia.
It is an approved Examination Centre for Primary and Early Childhood Education Diploma Courses.
Choma Institute of Teacher Education is affiliated to Zambia Open University (ZOU).
The College offers the following Courses at affordable fees.
- Full time Primary Teachers’ Diploma – 3 Years
Requirements:- a minimum of 5 credits or better including Maths, English and Science.
- Full time Early Childhood Education Teachers’ Diploma – 3 Years
Requirements:- a minimum of 5 credits or better including English.
- Part-time for both Primary Teachers’ Diploma and Early Childhood Education Diploma (Starting at 17.00 hrs to 20.30 hrs).
