Chipolopolo train at Heroes Stadium

The Zambia men’s national team held their second training session on Thursday at the National Heroes Stadium.

The Africa Cup of Nations bound squad was taken through their paces by head coach Avram Grant and his technical bench.

The team had to endure a bit of harsh weather at the start of their session with heavy rains before the skies could clear later on.

Serbia based midfielder Klings Kangwa looked very sharp with his usual silk turns and dribbling during a small sided game session.

Tanzania based Clatous Chota Chama was another one who looked lively with his protection of the ball and show of skill when on the ball.

Edward Chilufya and Albert ‘Deddo’ Kangwanda also showed some flair and looked hungry.

The Chipolopolo Boys will shift base to Saudi Arabia next week.

Whilst in Saudi Arabia, the Copper Bullets will face Cameroon in a friendly match on January 9.

The 2012 AFCON winners are returning to the continental showpiece for the first time since 2013.

Zambia will open its AFCON account on January 17 against Congo before facing Morocco four days later and conclude its group matches against Tanzania on January 24.
