Chipolopolo to leave for San Pedro today

The Chipolopolo Boys will today fly out to San Pedro, Ivory Coast, their base for the Africa Cup of Nations.

The team has been in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia in the last few days for intensified preparations and an international camp. 

While in Jeddah the team also had an international friendly match against Cameroon which ended in a goalless draw. 

The 2012 Champions are returning to the continental showpiece for the first time since 2015. 

Zambia will commence their AFCON journey on January 17 against DR Congo at the Laurent Pokou Stadium.

The Copper Bullets will then face Tanzania four days later while the final Group F match will be against the Atlas Lions on January 24.
