Chilanga will not regret voting for Langa … Kapata says Langa is no contest

Lusaka (09-05-18 – The ruling Patriotic Front (PF) is not only confident of scooping the Chilanga parliamentary seat but also assured electorates that they will not regret voting for Maria Langa.
Campaign Chairperson Jean Kapata told journalists at the PF Interactive Forum held at Chrisma Hotel this morning that the candidate the ruling party has settled for is a no contest to other candidates the parties have chosen.
According to Kapata, PF candidate Langa is not only a community person but she also has her routes rooted in Chilanga where she has spent most of her life growing her businesses.
The candidate we have chosen for Chilanga is capable of delivering development and the people will not regret they gave her a vote.”
“Kapata who is also area minister of lands asked the people of Chilanga to open their eyes and vote for Langa if they wanted to see development in that area.”
She said the woman the PF has given the people of Chilanga is entrepreneur who will use her entrepreneurship skills to bring development in the area.
And speaking at the same function Langa told journalists that Chilanga is now ready for development.
Langa explained that when the people of Chilanga vote for her on June 5, she will develop the constituency the same she has managed to grow her businesses.
“I was able to grow my business in the area alone, there is no way I can fail now when I will have the advantage of working with the government of the day.”
According to Langa, she will not need to begin from the scratch to develop Chilanga.
“The constituency has ready material which I will use to bring development. All I will need to do when I win the coming election is to reorganize the materials in the order of importance.”
She suggested that her first priority as MP for Chilanga is to see the areas that need my immediate attention and will begin from their.
“This will also include creating jobs for that the youths.”
She also disclosed that she will partner with Disney world to transform the recreation facilities in Chilanga, including travel tourism saying this will benefit the people through service deliveries.
“And speaking at the same function Maria Langa told journalists that Chilanga is now ready for development.

She also said the government has an agenda to empower not only the youths but also women.
She said the PF has lots of programs put in place not only for the creation of jobs for youths but also empowering women.
“I am advised that there are more than 20 projects all designed at empowering both women and youths. These include Chicken and goat rearing, agriculture and bee keeping.”
She said when that time comes, she will work with the government which the people of Chilanga elected to roll-up the projects to the advantage of the people.”
