Chawama Switches On for Pres. Lungu

President Edgar Lungu has taken the front role in campaigning for Patriotic Front mayoral candidate Miles Sampa.

Chawama which is where President Lungu cut his political teeth having been Member of Parliament for Chawama Constituency.

President Lungu was counting on his Chawama roots to win over support for Sampa.

The Lusaka mayoral runs will be held on July 26 with nine candidates in the race.

During the rally UPND Kanyama Constituency Ward 10 Councilor Brighton Bilumba defected to the ruling PF.

Bilumba was the only UPND councillor in Lusaka district.
