CBU Lecturers Threaten Not To Conduct Exams If April Salaries Are Not Paid Today

LECTURERS at Copperbelt University (CBU) in Kitwe have threatened not to conduct examinations scheduled to start on Monday if their April salaries are not paid by today.
Copperbelt University Academics Union (CBUAU) acting general secretary Willie Ngosa said in a statement yesterday that the lecturers will only conduct examinations once they are paid.
“CBUAU has noted with dismay the failure by CBU management and Government to pay salaries to workers for the month of April 2017,” he said.
