Government Told Create Favourable Environment For Zambians To Invest In The Information And Communication Technologies
The economics association of Zambia-EAZ- has advised government to create a favorable environment that will enable Zambians to invest in the information and communication technology –ICT- sector.
EAZ President Lubinda Haabazoka tells phoenix business news that the bureaucracy and unfair competition Zambians experience discourages them to take up huge investment opportunities.
Dr. Haabazoka says following the failure by Uzzi to set up a fourth mobile company, it will be good to see Zambians take up the opportunity.
Meanwhile ministry of communications and transport permanent secretary, Misheck Lungu has disclosed that some Zambians have already shown interest in investing in Zambia’s telecommunication sector following the suspension of Uzzi’s license.
