59,000 LAND TITLES GIVEN OUT

Government has given out 59,000  land titles under the National Land Titling Programme in 2018.
Minister of Lands Jean Kapata says ten thousand have been issued at the ministry of lands, four thousand at the National Titling Center while forty-five thousand have been done by Medichi a company that has been engaged to help give title in Peri urban area  of Lusaka.
Ms Kapata told ZNBC news in an interview in Lusaka  that in 2019 the ministry will roll out the land titling programme to all districts across the country.
She said the signature of the surveyor general has been automated to speed up the process.
Ms Kapata however said the ministry did not reach the targeted three hundred thousand for 2018.
