ZSIC insures Copper Queens’ World Cup outing

ZSIC General Insurance has announced a free travel medical insurance sponsorship package for the Copper Queens worth K2.3m.

The package will cover emergency costs for the entire team and technical bench while each member is expected to be covered up to $44,000.

ZSIC General Insurance Acting Managing Director, SILVIA NGULUWE says the development is aimed at supporting the team during their travel and stay in Australia and New Zealand for the FIFA Women’s World.

In a speech read on her behalf by Marketing Deputy Director KUNDA NGOMA, Ms. NGULUWE said the company is happy to be associated with the team ahead of the Women’s FIFA World.

Meanwhile, Football Association of Zambia – FAZ – General Secretary REUBEN KAMANGA said the sponsorship package will help reduce the high costs that come with sending a team to such a showpiece.

And, Captain BARBRA BANDA has expressed delight saying it is a motivation for the team in making the country proud.
