ZRA employee,Chinese national robbed by two women

A Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) employee has been robbed of a laptop, external hard drive, cell phone and K2,000 cash after allegedly being poisoned by two suspected Tanzania’s females.

Police on the Copperbelt say this happened at a named Lodge in Kitwe.

Copperbelt Police Commissioner SHARON ZULU says also attacked and poisoned is a Chinese national who was drinking with the named ZRA employee and the women.

Ms ZULU said in a statement to ZNBC News in Kitwe that the ZRA officer checked in at the Lodge yesterday where he found the two Tanzanian ladies also booking rooms before they started drinking together at the same premises.

She says the officer was discovered by his friends lying naked in his room with red substance vomit on his bed.

The Copperbelt Police Chief says the Chinese national was also discovered in his room in the same circumstance .

Ms ZULU adds that the duo was rushed to Kitwe Teaching Hospital while the Tanzania ladies are reported to have checked out around 02:00 hours this morning.
