ZNBC to televise all AFCON games

ZNBC will televise all the 52 Africa Cup of Nations -AFCON- games slated to kick off on January 13, 2024.

Information and Media Permanent Secretary, THABO KAWANA confirmed the development during the AFCON Broadcast launch in Lusaka.

KAWANA said the games will be broadcast on TV1, TV2 and Radio 1.

He said the commentaries of all the games will be done in the seven major local languages as a way of promoting unity.

KAWANA called on the Chipolopolo boys to put in their level best and emulate the copper queens because government has provided everything they need.

Meanwhile, ZNBC Board Chairperson JOSEPH KAZHILA called on business entities to come on board and advertise their goods and services during this period.

KAZHILA said this is an opportunity for companies to also advertise in local languages.
