Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation -ZNBC- Director General MALOLELA LUSAMBO has resigned.

ZNBC Board Chairperson, JACK KALALA says the resignation of Mr. LUSAMBO is with immediate effect.

Mr. KALALA says the Board is grateful for the service that Mr. LUSAMBO has offered to the Corporation over the years rising to the helm of the institution since December 1st, 2019.

And, Mr. KALALA says the position will soon be advertised to allow for a transparent selection of a new Director General.

He says Director of Engineering and Technology BRIGHT NKAKA will be Acting Director General.

Meanwhile, Mr. KALALA has recommended that all the senior management positions such as the Directors of Human Resource, Finance and Programmes currently vacant be advertised and substantive appointments made as quickly as possible.

Mr. KALALA said this in a statement released to ZNBC News in Lusaka today.
