Speaking at a breakfast meeting in Lusaka this morning hosted by the Institute of Internal Auditors of Zambia, Mr. MLAUZI said most of the Sim cards used by scammers are pre-owned ones which are sold on the streets by agents.

Mr. MLAUZI said most Zambians fall prey to scammers because they share personal information on social media.

And Finance and National Planning Minister SITUMBEKO MUSOKOTWANE said the Institute of Internal Auditors Bill has been sent to the Ministry of Justice for legislative drafting.

Dr. MUSOKOTWANE, in a speech read for him by Controller of Internal Audit in the Ministry of Finance and National Planning RINGO PHIRI, said once the drafting is done, the bill will be presented to Cabinet for approval.

Meanwhile, Institute of Internal Auditors of Zambia President ESTHER HAAMAUNDU has thanked government for restarting the process to enact the Internal Auditors Bill.

Ms. HAAMAUNDU said the process stalled for a long time and it is gratifying that the Bill is now before the Ministry of Justice for legislative drafting.
