“ZESCO WILL BEAT NKANA IN CHARITY SHIELD”

ZESCO United coach George Lwandamina is hopeful that his side will carry the day when his team meets Nkana Football Club for the season opening Samuel Zoom Ndlovu charity shield match next weekend.
Lwandamina however says he expects a tough game against Nkana who he said had a very good 2018 season.
He said although football can go either way, he is looking forward to a positive result.
He said this in a telephone interview with ZNBC news.
Zesco United and Nkana, who are both out of the country for continental games this weekend, will warm-up for the season opener next Saturday in the 2019 Samuel Zoom Ndhlovu Memorial Charity Shield at Arthur Davis Stadium.
The 2019 transitional league season will run from January to June before FAZ switches to the new format which commences in August.
