Zesco United is ready – Lwandamina

Zambian Premier League Champions Zesco United will tomorrow Saturday take on Young Africans football club (Yanga) of Tanzania at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam.

Speaking to the media during the Pre-match Press briefing, George Lwandamina declared his players ready for the match.

“We are coming from a season, the team has gone through it’s paces, we played one league game and two caf games which made us get to this stage, having gone through all this I think the team is ready for any challenge.”

George Lwandamina previously coached yanga before rejoining zesco United in 2018.

“It would be very unfair if I spoke about yanga, I left about a year ago and I don’t know what transformation they would have gone through during this period.”

Former Chipolopolo player who is now Yanga Assistant Coach as also declared his players ready for tomorrow’s game.

The match will be played tomorrow at 14:00 hrs (Zambian time) with the return leg scheduled for the levy Mwanawasa stadium in Ndola.

Winner over both legs qualifies to the caf champions league group stages.
