Zesco United Avoid Mweene, Mayuka In CAF Champions League

Zambia back to back champions will not face Kennedy Mweene’s Mamelodi Sundowns or Emmanuel Mayuka’s Zamalek according to the CAF Champions League draw just done.

George Lwandamina’s side will have to contend with favourites Al Ahly of Egypt in Group A.

Meanwhile, the T. P Mazembe contingent of Zambia skipper Rainford Master Kalaba, midfield anchorman Nathan Sinkala, tough tackling defender Kabaso Chongo and seasoned striker Given Singuluma also found out their group in the ‘Europa League” of Africa; the CAF Club Confederations Cup.

The Ravens are in Group A after eliminating Zanaco’s conquerors Gabesien to make the mini league series.
