Meanwhile, Mr Kapata says the water levels in reservoirs at all national power generation plants are more than what was recorded last year at the same time.
He has explained that the water levels at Kafue Gorge, Kariba Dam, Victoria Falls and Itezhi-tezhi power stations are equal to operational levels, therefore the country does not need to worry.
Mr Kapata has added that ZESCO expects the water levels to be above the minimum levels by next month, going by the rains currently being experienced.
