By Balewa Zyuulu

The Zambia Civic Education Association has called for a review of laws governing the provision of justice to juveniles in Zambia.

Association Executive Director, Judith Mulenga tells phoenix news that Zambia’s age of criminal responsibility must be revised in order to improve its ratings on child justice.

Ms Mulenga is reacting to a latest report by the African child policy forum which ranks Zambia among the least child-friendly countries in Africa, currently ranked at number 48 out of 52 countries under review.

In this vain, Ms Mulenga is calling for more funding coupled with political will towards the management of juveniles in the country.
